Shirtless, his jeans torn by a breathless fight, the Yusuke Demonic Form POP figure, thus, shows a Yusuke metamorphosed in spite of himself because of the influence of the Makai and, more particularly, the demonic blood he shares with Raizen.Īnd precisely because he shares his ancestry with Raizen, the spirit detective, with the Funko POP Yusuke Demonic Form looks like a fusion between Yusuke and Raizen. The Funko POP Yusuke Demonic Form figure represents him as he was during his fight against Sensui. After that, Yusuke never wore this form again, the fault being that Raizen died a few months later. He nourished thereafter an ardent hatred towards Raizen who, later, became his master. Yusuke could not forgive himself for not having been able to defeat him by his own means. In just a few blows, unleashing a power that one would not have suspected, Yusuke, without having any control over his body, managed to slaughter Sensui by his own strength. He then took a demonic form which did not fail to take Sensui by surprise. His plan was certain to succeed, and soon the Makai world would spill over into the human world.īut, being in the Makai produced something incredible in Yusuke, who, on the verge of death, transformed himself without even being aware of it. It was there that Sensui unleashed himself, almost invincible, against opponents who were absolutely helpless against him. The events of the Sensui arc led to its conclusion on the other side of the spiritual barrier, in the wilds of Makai: the world of demons. But, despite his tenacity, despite his rage to win, he, like his companions, soon found himself powerless against his predecessor in the position of spirit world detective.
